Fun Day in Beijing!
Shu Shu had such a fun day with her new friend Mary Clare. Her family is from Cincinnati and is here to bring home a 16 month old little girl from Zhejiang Province. She started playing with her in the lobby while waiting to board the bus and they became instant friends. If Mary Clare went in another direction Shu would immediately look for her and say "Hey where did my girlfriend go?" It was so cute. She insisted on sitting with her on the bus the entire day! She reminded us so much of Shu's "BFF" Jenny at home. She is even the same exact age as Jenny (9yrs old). When I asked her when her birthday was she said April 24th . . . . it was so funny because we just celebrated Jenny's birthday before we left which is April 26th! After Shu's nap Mary Clare joined us for dinner at McDonalds and brought this picture down to our room for Shu Shu. They are the only children in our travel group (for now!) so it is nice they have each other.
Shu Shu says to Mary Clare . . . "You have polka dots on your face!
