Enjoying the beauty of Nanning, Guangxi!
We spent the day outdoors enjoying the weather and the beauty of Nanning. The day was spent at the "Peoples Park" which Ken will be writing about on our web-site soon! This evening we explored the public park right next door to our hotel. It has a beautiful walkway along side of a lake which is long and narrow so resembles a river. We were walking and stopping along the way blowing bubbles with the girls when Ken said . . . . "is all we need is an ice cream stand!". Sue and I laughed and thought there is no way we would find anything like that out here. Then to our amazement we saw a stand up ahead of us that happened to have a cooler and sold cold drinks and ice cream! We bought some for the girls and found a nice place next to the lake to let them enjoy it. Well, we found another thing that Jie Jie loves . . . . we gave her the little wooden spoon and ice cream cup and she knew exactly what to do with it! She is showing more of her personality every day and Sue and I just can't keep our eyes off of her because she is "so darn cute!" She has this funny walk that she does with her hand on her hip that cracks us up! Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!
